Description

Modeled with 3DS Max 9 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Doesn't look good in the sim (and its wingspan is something like a half-mile), so it's just a visual plane for now. Parts of it have enough polys, and some have far too few (tail, for one highly visible area). Probably won't do any more work on this plane, other than texturing; if I need/want a more realistic SR-22, I'll build a new one from the ground up. On the rendering itself: I used Vray (this was the first time I'd used it), and followed a tutorial from CGIndia on the photo booth setup and rendering. I also did some light postwork in Photoshop, to create a bit of a glow, and adjust lighting.

You are right it needs a little more detail. However it has the right shapes. But with a half mile wingspan you should be able to glide for ever. :)
