Description

Greetings my friends :-) hope you are all doing nice! Thank you very much for all your comments and views of my Livermore creek! place really is calming :-) thumb_1618503.jpg
Can not wait till Spring time for some nice colors to evolve in the creek! -- So this new project I am working on is supposed to be set in the late 1960's. and with a vehicle I have actually owned before. a forest green 67 Chevrolet Impala. I really loved that car for it's muscle and style. this truley is one of America's best known quality vehicles ever built asides from Cadillac, Dodge [Chargers], Ford [Mustangs] etc.. I know this car really is a boat! [old american slang for a large vehicle] but I just loved the style of it, and mine was equipped with a police interceptor engine. So I had to get it! fortunately my dad's friend had that car and I bought it off him for only $500.00 bucks! he was a car collector in North California and worked at the sawmill where my dad worked, and they were real tight friends. so he sold me that car real cheap! I drove that car down to the ground lol. yeah I was a teen late 80's and I confess, I was driving my car like a bat out of hell lol! yes excessive speeding...but!! no worries, I can say I neevr did drink and drive or smoke uhm yeah that substance while driving lol. so what happened to the car? well.. about 3 years later I ended up selling it to a junk yard for $300 for parts and the engine was still pretty good, just had some knocking going on lol. so that is why this vehicle is in my current project lol. yeah memories sake. Take care and have a great Day/Night all :-D Oh oh! forgot to mention lol... the middle render is the one I have saved and in progress of fixing the back tail lights [they do not seem correct still] and also making a concrete path up to the front door, also maybe a lamp in the front window with it for lighting inside the house, and maybe some shrubbery in front.. yes so still in progress.. I will pick back up on it around 8 - 9 pm my time zone I believe. so there maybe be another abstract hottie or fractal one who knows lol..

Love this collage, Mike. Yes, those type cars were also known as 'ghetto cruisers' and 'land yachts.' Back when gas was 33 cents per gallon and you could fill the gas tank and still have money in your pocket for more..

Great to see the different interpretations of this scene. And, oh those sixties cars!!! The best. Funny you should mention Dodge Chargers. I had three of them at one time or another, and regret selling them :-( Would love to find a free 3d download one, and hoping someone comes out with one. The ones for sale are a bit pricey.
