Hello, I'm an American artist with art images uploaded on Renderosity. I'm not really much of a photographer. However, I have lived on four different continents and managed to capture a few interesting photos (I currently live in Korea). As for digital rendering, I was once tasked to develop some digital training videos for work. At the time, I knew nothing about 3D rendering. I purchased a copy of Poser4 and used the forums on RENDEROSITY to learn the rest. Now I use DAZ Studio to make renders for my own amusement, but I have not forgotten where I started. Most of what I render is based on "Star Wars" and my interest in a game called "Warhammer 40,000". It's a great game with a very well developed gothic-military-sci-fi setting. Whenever possible, I upload images of my art to share with others for whatever pleasure it may bring. I hope all of you enjoy my gallery and the works yet to come...

I'm afraid we don't share the same opinion about what is, or isn't, a work of art. I unterstand this..."thing" has been useful and precious in some moments of your life, but as seen from my sofa, this is a shame for mankind. Lord have mercy on us.

Looks like a very fine piece of machinery.

Excellent piece of work. Take good care of her and she'll take good care of you. We do share a similar opinion. ;)

As the man said (I am presuming here) art is in the eye of the beholder. To me it is an impliment, a tool that has certain and unique uses. But as DCLEW2 remarked, indeed there is a sybiotic relationship. Good reference picture.

As a parent of a soldier I believe this is what's killing our sons and daughters. It's not, in my opinion, art. It a killing machine that we can do without.

The design is only about 125 years old. Give it time to mature.

A wise man once said "guns don't kill people, people kill people". I have seen firearms that were/are true works of art Colt and Browning have produced pieces that are a testament to the engravers art. I do agree with 'stick' to the extent it's a shame such things are needed but before their advent man made do with blades, clubs even rocks.Mankind will always find reasons for war.If my son descided to join the military, I'd rather he had one of these than a pocket full of rocks!!. Nice photograph of a reliable weapon.

Leaving all opinions aside (this is, after all, basically an art gallery and not a forum) this is a fantastic capture of a necessary tool in times of peace and war. A fantastic capture because its taken out in the field. I once held in my hands an AK-47 from the Red Guards, Soviet era, and that too was a work of art. Don't ask how it got to the States during the 80's -_^
