Sometimes you can see a story within a story with the aid of different vision.
Well, it is good to be back from the Emerald City. It was such a wonderful trip, seeing old friends, making new ones. Thanks to Tara, Kurt, Trent, Randy, Jane and Charlynn for making the trip delightful! (I have to tell you the food was pretty delightful as well! lol)
So this country elf, back from the city life, is verrrrry busy catching up on comments. It is interesting and inspiring to see a body of your work.
I appreciate all of your thoughts and your support over my first year here at RnR!
I hope you all are having a great weekend. As always a hug to you! :) Jilly

A lot to see in this, I'm thinking a sort of collage of what you saw and experienced in your Emerals City trip .. I see faces, and there's the tall spires of the Emerald City, and the lights, oh the lights, and store windows, and tables, and perhaps a stage .. and yes, the opera glasses, LOL, and doors and what a wonderous, enchanting trip you had!

A massive swirl of intersecting worlds, passionate, intelligent, very suggestive and wholly mysterious. I've been to enough opera to know it's a teeming world; but this feels more like an opera-of-the-soul; and your images seem brushed-over by horizontal waves of time or maybe just energies, a continuum. It's even cubist in spots, there's real intelligence...I just wanted to pay my respects, as an outsider, and tell you again that your work is very rich and very suggestive and both painterly and graphic at the same time. Teeming complex stuff...
