The same day that we went to fort klapperkop our first visit was Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary. So here is The Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary series.

Bravo a great shot of some very interesting behaviour along with anting this is thought to help with the birds keeping the feathers in good condition, or to help spread preening oil.. In Doves it is a bit more of a mystery as they use a powder rather than oil..
