When I see scenes like this my attention shifts to Civil War from movies and visits to Gettysburg and Shiloh. I finally had to travel to Appomattox to close out a teacher's incessant references to Manassas. Still Andersonville after 50 years left me wondering where did all the wooden caissons go. The quiet grassey hill is a theme. Kennesaw Mountain kept the one reenactment caisson under lock and key.
