Description

No idea where this picture came from! It was one of those ideas that just wouldn't go away so here you are. I was playing around with painting effects in post-work and am happy with the results. I have noticed that my pictures have become more painterly lately. One of the themes that I noticed in this (after making it) was contrasts... life/death, light/dark. I have been heavily influenced by a book on surrealism and visual literacy! Anyway hope you like this picture and thanks for commenting! Shane.

Excellent! I like the painty effect. And I always love the way you have a balance with your light and shadows. Plus your images are just cool! I love that skeletal arm half. Great symbolism of the life and death-light and dark you mention in your words.
