The key stage of making this image was the "Sketch Render" function of POSER 4 ARTIST. I do not know if other versions of POSER can do this. This particular image started as a photo I recently took. I then adjusted the image in HP IMAGE ZONE. I then imported the JPEG file into POSER 4 as a background. Then I used the sketch render. Then I exported the image back to HP IMAGE ZONE as a JPEG for more postwork until I had an image I was satisfied with. Any photo or render in JPEG format will work; however, the light to dark contrast has to just right for it to work.
