I see something like this and have to wonder.. what are these ladies thinking about? The PTA meeting later? Maybe wondering if they have chosen the best fabric softner? Did they shut off the oven before leaving the house this morning? Why doesn't a square hoop make a square bubble? Or are their thoughts beyond my comprehension? Like, why is half of an infinity equal to a whole infinity. Ok, you got my head hurtin again Michele. Let's just leave it at.. Excellent abstract young lady! Top shelf image! Amazing image! I was randomly browsing and found this. I have absolutely NO IDEA why, but a line from Ray Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles" pops into my head. "Tall they were, and golden eyed..." I think that was actually the title of one of the chronicles. At any rate, I thought of that when I saw this image. I guess because I've had science fiction on the brain for quite some time now, that just popped into my head. It's weird how associations are often made! Anyway, I love this image, and in a very real sense, it evokes the "mysterious openness" so well captured in Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, so that's probably where the main association came from. As for this particular image, it's beautifully done, somewhat haunting, and very dream like! I love the mixed emotions this brings up, and I'll have to say that it is one of my instant favorites. Great work!
