Wonderful PT boat image. Super work on the water

That's great!--and I just watched the movie, "They Were Expendable" about these guys during the early days of WWII in the Phillipines. Those little wooden boats--yes, wood!--accounted for most of the tonnage in sunk Japanese naval ships--far more than the submarines. That was just in the first few weeks or month of the war, though. There was also a book by the same title that the movie was based upon. Read it when I was a teenager.

Good water work!

From PT-109 to T-10. Steel hull to aluminum. V-12 gas to diesel. Just sitting here thinking about a picture of a man in the White House in a rocking chair with a bad back. "Profiles in Courage" was his book.

Thanks for your constructive comments regarding water. I looked at your impressive portfolio and can see how to improve some of my stuff - which are very much exploratory for game concepts. I hope you will accept my comment on some of the characters in your art - they do tend to look a little bit unnatural in respect of some of the 'action feel' you have achieved with the camera and model aspects. This is a particular area I'm interested in (obviously important in gaming) - in trying to achieve perhaps the unachievable - character action poses in 'stills' that look both realistic in relation to the scene and other assets. Again - thanks for you comments and best wishes David
