Description

Here is another photo from my trip to Yellowstone. This one was taken at one of my favorite stops, West Thumb. This place has wonderful thermal features. The one depicted on this photo is called Fishing Cone and it is located on the shore of Yellowstone Lake. Apparently long time ago visitors would stand on this mini-volcano to fish and without taking the fish off the hook they would dip them in the hot water and parboil their catch.
