Description

I don't normaly post pics that are really just test renders but in this case I though I would make an exception. I spent most of this evening making textures form the new wood ref pic Richrad sent me for our new set "Below Deck on a Pirate Ship" or BDPS for short. I asked Richared if he could find some water damaged weathered wood and as always he did an outstanding job. I swear sometines that he must use magic to find the crazy things I ask for. Any way I was so please with how the wood looks I just had to post a smaple. I think these 3 props (beam, plank and hold cover) set the mood for the whole project. I think with just this people can imagine the look the Pirates hold will have when done. It is a good thing Rosity increased the total zipped product size to 70 megs because for this set I think we are gonna need it :-)

You may need to add seasoned in sea water to the request next time. I only mention it because I have no idea what that would add or even allow to be seen.

well it might add some dried salt just above the water line, but most driftwood is just grayed and aged, this is much better :-)
