I was born in Windsor Ontario Canada in 1951 and promptly moved to The GTA (Greater Toronto Area). I like the big city. I studied Graphic Design and Creative Writing at Humber College and made a decent living as a Commercial Artist for many years. Then, in 1987 I was hit with MS (multiple sclerosis) and by 1989, had to close down my business. Thankfully, I discovered Digital Art and life continued where it had left off. I don't make any money creatively now but places like Renderosity have saved my life, literally!
Thanks to everyone who comments on my work. It is appreciated.

I like them both, but this one does have a "lighter" feel to it, and the banks are more realistic. Bravo

I like this one better too. Very nice job!

My favorite occupation and a great image to remind me that summer is coming.

I agree with Jilly. I like the well delineated trees, and the surprised look on the fawn. Having watched some fishing programs, and having searched river banks for missing children etc., I do know that there are steep banks like this. This is a much more realistic version, my friend. I still would not like to try to climb up that bank off a rowing boat, though.. ;o) Regards, John.

James, and the water are fantasticly lit and textured, but the terrain seems to be klinda drap..like the shadowing or whatever is off a bit.
