Description

there are 2 sets of stairs like this plus one other that is about 1/3 the size going down to the station.the subway is 75 feet below the surface of US 75 otherwise known as Central expressway.at this point Central is about 25 feet below ground level in a man made canyon. earlier this week City Place(42 stories-560' tall) had a bomb scare and was evacuated thanks for viewing and any comments I shot it handheld at high iso

The only subway I have ever ridden is the Washington, DC Metro and then only because Cubic Corporation made the ticket machines. It was an ACMR/ACMI moment that Col. "Boots" Boothby and Lt. Cdr. J.C. Smith made possible.

Super excellent capture Richard. One can perceive this photo in so many different ways. The light really played well with you in getting such a crisp result. I find myself staring down the hallway and still I'm able to look at the upperfloor too, this gives an impression of looking at the scene through ones own eyes rather than the the eye of a camera!
