Got my BS at Penn State and my MS at Texas A&M in chemical engineering where I met my beautiful wife. Over time, I've gravitated back toward pretending to be an artist with my main interests in photography and modeling. I primarily use Rhino and Carrara as my apps of choice for 3D modeling.
Currently, I've gotten out of the whole engineering scene and do IT and graphics design work for a biotech company. I'm also an avid scuba diver. I try to get away each year to the Carribean. So, I'll toss in a few underwater photos (snapshots in my case) every now and then into the gallery. I play classical guitar and cello when I can.
Lately, I've been getting into astronomical photography using a Celestron CGE-1100 SCT telescope system along with a TMB 92 mm refractor piggy-backed to the Celestron. Also at my disposal is a TMB 152/1200 refractor. Photographic tools of choice include an ImagingSouce 640x480 webcam, an SBIG STL11000m monochrome CCD camera, and of course my trusty Fuji S2-Pro and Nikon n90s cameras.

I'm highly impressed! I wanted to take photos of the eclipse, but it was completely clouded over in Western North Carolina. So, no "nanners"! - Congrats!

Thank you for posting...it was amazing to behold,I don't have the equipment so I did not even bother, knowing there would be some excellent shots posted the next day....thanx again!

perfect view of our moon,Is it possible that the image was taken during a lunar eclipse??..

Great shot. Nice when you have a telescope to get clear shots. Mine was a bit whited out. Need more practice. In Hawaii, the clouds covered most of it. The moon came out just for a minute or two. Thanks for sharing. Excellent capture. Aloha

Great shot, it was raining here so the telescope stayed in the garage....

Oooh, this looks awesome. I'll have to figure out if I can hook my camera to my scope some day. I've got one in my gallery with my simple 10x zoom Sony. lol
