Description

This peony is from a neighbor's yard, taken last June. One of my favorite things about June is peonies! I just love them, and they do SO well up here! Sneak Factor = MEDIUM This bush was halfway down someone's driveway, next to the front stairs going up into the yard and then to the front door! I felt quite bold, traipsing down there to catch this beautiful bloom, but it was worth the trip. This is five or six houses down from me, and I have no idea who lives in that house. All I know is that they have a gorgeous peony, and it was calling my name! :)

June is right around the corner, it will be here before we know it. This is a gorgeous flower. Great colors, and I always enjoy your tale of taking them. Nicely done!!

Ok, I'm over the wall, off the charts, but my first thought was, "Who's June", oh geez, stop me before I get stupid ---too late, huh??) But, yes, to all of the above, this is gorgeous, the color is just perfect, the light soft and gentle, and the sneak factor just right!!

Gorgeous, sumptuous peony! The full-sized view reminds me so much of a Victorian still-life. Beautiful.

See, Marilyn didn't know who June was, and I was expecting a picture of Mick.lol. Then in your text you try to fool us again, you said it was 'Longing for June' then you said it was calling your name, I thought you were called Tara, not June? You are getting too good at this title game. We have some peonies out the front but they are a rich red colour, I will post some when they bloom. This of course is excellent and a beautiful shade of pink, with fantastic detail. Bravo!!!!!

I love peonies, too, and this is a beauty. I like the POV that isn't straight-on. I'd love to follow you around and get photos of you sneaking into all you neighbors' yards.
