Description

I am not the best at photography, still, I wanted to share this one. Yesterday afternoon, I heard a raucous din of crows outside, and ventured with my camera to see what was causing the screaming. I watched as the crows circled above a tall tree. I gazed at the tree, searching the limbs for anything that the crows might have been upset with. There, amidst the shadows sat this forlorn little hawk. I believe it is a Sparrow Hawk. I was fortunate in that he didn't move. He did not want to draw attention to himself. I captured several images from quite a distance. After fifteen minutes or so, he took wing and flew off. I am grateful that he allowed me the opportunity.
