I am in my second year at the Art Institute Online student, obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Web Design & Interactive Media.
I cannot draw or paint very well, but I love to create art in Photoshop. I create all sorts from banners and avatars, to website and desktop backgrounds, and other Photoshop artwork.
I am willing to create custom work for all. If you are interested email me or visit my online store at MelissaBailey.etsy.com.
Thanks for visiting. Any feedback is appreciated.

I think the way that letters can be made to intertwine, and the lettering / fonts used, allow a degree of indivduality that the modern world is sadly lacking these days. I like to link letters in monograms too, Melissa, ever since I learned Calligraphy and Illumination while doing a project on Shakespeare's RICHARD II. My avatar has been with me for well over forty years now, written originally using an italic fountain pen from WOOLWORTHS. Can you see all three letters ( yes three ) in it? ;o) This version was written using a stylus and graphics pad, in SERIF PHOTOPLUS X2 ( a serious contender to ADOBE ), and then using the DREAMSUITE plugin given a silvered look. One of these days I would like to try a Celtic knot version, too. I tried one years ago, but have lost the notebook that it was in. Regards, John.
