Description

...Life producing death, death giving rise to new life in a never ending circle, driven by the universal force of Eros... Well, those are some of my own thoughts about this picture. Feel free to associate on your own :) Actually, it is with a great deal of hesitation, that I present this. You've come to know me as the "landscape artist" or something like that. But I have a past - as a surrealist :) Now, I don't excepct you to "like" this, as matter of fact many hate my surreal work, but others love it. I've worked on this picture on and off for quite a while, it's a remake of one of my airbrushed surreal paintings made back in the 1980's I do hope at least you'll find it interesting... Vue 5 Infinite render. Some figures from Poser. A lot of metablob modeling, and postwork compositing in Photoshop. Thanks for taking a look and for any comments etc. you may leave. Yes, even on this one they'll be very much appreciated :) Have a nice day - Lars

Nothing wrong with surrealism, so don't apologize for your art. You do it for you, if people like it, bonus, if not, screw em. I always forget about how cool metablobs can be. I like the way the textures meld into each other. I think it's a very cool piece of work.

very daring work. not because it's surreal, but because of your treatment of sexuality. personally, the only problem i have with it is the light doesn't quite fit for me. i hope you do more surreal work.

It's well thought out and executed, obviously a lot of thought went into it. I had to look for a long time to see things that I did not see at first, like the fetus inside the metablob and that 'hill' in the background LOL!. It's not what I'd hang on my wall but it's a fine piece of surrealism ;-)
