Description
Captured 4/1/07, at the beautiful Descanso Gardens, at the foot of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains in beautiful LaCanada/Flintridge, California.
I know, I know, where's the tail you ask. Actually, I shouldn't have been this close to the fish in the first place. Staring at something else in the little LCD monitor, I was unprepared for its appearance, so this was an inadvertent shot, hastily done, and I didn't have time to adjust the zoom distance on the lens as it swam by. In any event, I was fortunate to have even made this capture. I have other photos of koi shown in their entirety, but not as good as this one.
Have a good day/night.

Honestly Harry, I don't realy miss a tail. I more focused on his red eye what "pops out" of his bright faded yellowish scalled body.

Love your title! Beautiful shot, the graphic quality makes it look 2D~ which is a cool effect. I like just as is~

Fantastic close-up.

Honestly, I don't miss the tail at all. Just look at that texture, the clarity of the detail, the way the light picks out this and that. Awesome shot, my amigo querido! Congratulations on a fine, felicitous, fishy foto!

You were protected from the sudden swish that blurs.
