I'm Janis, living in Paris.
After theater, poetry and painting for many years, photo is my huge passion since 3 years!  I'm a self-made woman...... oh yes!:o)   I'm so sorry I can't write correctly in english but I can read your comments and of course they are welcome!
"The lens as sole whitness!... fugitives moments, dreams, in a single word increment one of my passions and share it with you happyness and emotions"!
Après le théâtre, la poésie et la peinture que j'ai pratiqué durant de nombreuses années, la photographie est devenue ma passion première depuis 3 ans!   Je suis absolument autodidacte... he oui!:o)
"L'objectif comme seul témoin!... des instants fugitifs, du rêve, en un mot mettre à profit une de mes passions et vous en faire partager la joie et les émotions"!

I, too, like both. I think the clear version is very interesting, more of contrasts. :o)

Superb bright shot & captivating POV Janis ! & a very cool tribute to "la grande Dame brune"... Both are unique & wonderfull !! I prefere the first one for his kind of old fashion style that is the nearest of my feeling when am transported to the past when the singer lived... Thks 4share, xxxxx

I prefer this without the digital noise effect.must be a beautiful place to stay in and romantic

Superb Janiss, I like them both, Oh Decisions, Decisions ?????
MrsLubner
They both have equal weight with me. The first is artsy and not intended as just a photo. This one is clean and crisp and announces the hotel. The first one announces you... :-)

I'm going to cast my vote for the clear shot this time. The stark contrasts speak to the era a lot better.
francinechristophe
I prefer this one.... It deserve the black and not the grey !

Janis, this is by far a sharper, fine-tuned image! Contrast is depicted beautifully. It seems like a lovely, classy place to stay! Lovely design, and the capture is fantastic!
Sivana
I prefere this clear photo; it looks much better without the grain and also more harmonics with the topic of the "fine day".

Black and white has always be a favorite of mine

HannaK
This one is more a print like effect-both are good shots

Hard to choose, they're both so good, but I think I'm leaning toward the first one!!

Nice shot!

Oh Janis...this is as beautiful as the other! I don't know which I prefer...both are GORGEOUS in their own unique ways. The other photograph looks "older." This one has greater clarity, but BOTH are superb!
babuci
Amazing capture in a fine tone.
Horstmeister
very fine classic b&w composition
Kuiski

Liam.
Great job!

Pour être très franc j'aime bien mieux celle-là que l'autre! Le grain de la précédente ne me séduisait pas trop, là cela reste plus sobre, donnant la priorité aux lignes de l'image.
lior
Je prefere l'ancienne image!
