When looking at yesterday's post I thought the shore had quite a slope to it. It looked like a dangerous place to swim. Great shot of that cone; it looks like the ocean has already eaten about a third of it.

Only on the Big Island can you see this unique mixture of olivine sand and volcanic remnants. Our island is still the youngest in the chain as evidenced here. Nice shot here Sharky!! Maika'i!!
