Perhaps not as advanced a design as it's contemporary the ME-262, but the P/F-80 was certainly long lived. It saw stellar service during the Korean War and was victor in the first all jet combat with a Mig-15. The Shooting Star morphed into the T-33 trainer which flew on in active service until the 1980s. A truly great plane that you have done justice to with this fine render.
