Description

Greetings! Spring is coming about slowly in our cold country. This was a day of bright sunshine (which I enjoyed without our camera though). These are oak buds, swelling slowly, slowly. Shot taken on one of our dawn walks. Enjoy your weekend! :)

Nice macro! My daffodils are sending up bud stalks and in some sheltered areas along the country roads there are masses of an early-bloomimg variety (old time) in glorious bloom. No safe place to hop out of the car and grab a pic tho!

Nice macro shot. Usually, we have crocus by mid-February, but this has been a much colder and more enduring winter than usual--most snow since winter of 1948-49. With the temperatures what they are, of late, I don't expect them for another week or two.

Quite nice but I would have cropped differently, taking the buds out of center. That is not a criticism but my thoughts. I love photos of what is often missed, the buds, new emerging leaves, etc. So much beauty even long before flowers and trees full of leaves reappear.
