Hello All! This baby giraffe that was quite shy and hiding behind Mama tasting the leaves mother had pulled down for her.. can never get enough of giraffe's they are always such a wonder to me ...!! ... I postworked this bigtime in paintshop ... and painted with my mouse a little ( maybey too overdone lol I better put it up before I play too much more with it lol! ) Thank you for all your time and comments!! Wonderful image, Kimmie! Adorable perspective and great post work, as always. I remember driving through an animal park, and whereas the ostriches would nearly peck your hand off, the baby giraffe would take the food from our hands so gently that their lips barely brushed our skin! I completely melted then and this is just as heart-meltingly beautiful!!

I don't have a giraffe birthmark like you, but I, too, am a total nut case for giraffes .. they are so fascinating. This is so sweet and I love the richness of the image. Really lovely. CC
