~~ Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. All comments are more than welcome. My heartfelt thanks go out to those who've commented and favored my previous images. Your encouragement and support have made me strive for improvement every day. ~~ This new character is actually named Dahlia. She was promoted as a blonde, but her dark brows and dark eyes just screamed at me for darker hair. So, as I was working on her, thoughts beat around in my head and I remembered the true to life, devastating murder story of Elizabeth Short, nicknamed by news reporters, "The Black Dahlia" in 1947. I won't go into the details, but it was presumed during the murder investigation by some in the FBI that the Dahlia had tried to seduce the wrong man, in her desperate search for a father figure. ~~ I was going for a seductive, come-hither look for my Black Dahlia...Did I succeed or not? *wink*
