Description

THANK YOU...CJOE AND ALKHALL! I want to thank these two classy and very talented artists! Not only for their kind words of support, but for being such outstanding persons! Their support has been of great value to me and this art community! It is your professional imput that has kept me interested in poser and somehow keeps me comin back...time after time, no matter what! This may be my best one yet and I dedicate it to both of you...now only one of you gets the girl! "ALKHALL" watch out for "CJOE" as he will charm the clothes off her back! I guess hanging out in the galleries and viewing such really outstanding art, eventually starts to rub off alittle on me! I owe it to this community that is so full of talent! I thank you all! :) I have been a Star Wars fan for a long time now! I always thought that the stormtrooper was used too much as a grunt soldier. The stormtrooper has always been my favorite Star Wars character. In the following renders I am going to portray him in a leading role and more as I imagined the character he easily could have been! Here he is portrayed by me as a heroic figure...putting his life on the line to protect the beautiful Aiko! In my opinion I think this image creates a more powerful sense of who he is as a character! I wanted Aiko to appear alittle more vulnerable and I therefore went with the kneeling pose, so that Aiko with her tall slender legs and 6 inch heels would not overpower the height of the Stormtrooper. I had the Stormtrooper grip Aiko's hand as sign of reasurance that everything was going to be OK. It can be difficult to capture a moment of both fearlessness and vulnerability in the same render. I hope I have come close! This render is going to do it for me, for awhile, as I am going to do, two more Star Wars renders before I head off into another direction. I will also be working on a special render, in order to thank the rest of you for your much appreciated support! I give poser as much time as I can, but I always seem to come up short on time! :( so it may take me awhile ) I thank every one of you...for your much appreciated comments! :) I thank scifi3d.com for the excellent death star corridor, modeled by Andreas Jacobsson (max & 3ds) I thank Vanishingpoint.biz for the great Stormtroopers modeled by JJ Palamo Thanks for viewing! :)

Wow!! Thnx a lot for the dedi Johnny I guess Cjoe and myself feel gratitude for the many kind and encouraging comments that you added to our galleries when we first started into 3d art, very much appreciated sir. I think your Star wars theme is awesome and I agree that the storm trooper was under rated, but the posing of your characters in this is exellent Aiko is my fav too! 5+ ;0)

"WARANGEL" I have not been able to get it look right in poser either! I rendered this in Studio Max using the default scanline renderer. I don't have any lighting plugins, although I wish I had V.ray! I just make do with the standard lights! (The good thing about max's default renderer is that it is fast...It took me about 3 minutes to render this image!) Sorry I could not offer any tips! :)

Ever see the Stormtrooper blooper in the original Star Wars? The one where he bangs his head going through a doorway, in the background. Classic stuff and Star Wars was a big inspiration to me as well. I really liked Ron Cobb's spaceship and set designs.
