Description

This is a side view of my last picture. Thanks for all the comments on my last upload. Mark@poser you had asked where this was taken, and it is in Tennessee, in a town called Dandridge. I had met a man that was out walking there, and I had asked him a few questions about the 'barn' from the hill it looked like a barn. And he said well its not a barn, and then asked me what I thought it was, and I said I have no clue, and he said it was an old school house. He was quite friendly and funny, and helped me unlatch the gate, but I regret now not asking him what year this was built. Take Care!! last view: thumb_1624877.jpg

I love old buildings like this. It gets me to wondering who went to school here. What ever happened to them, their kids go there also. Great capture!!

It does look like an old school house, actually. I wonder how many children studied here, in it's day. Ruined buildings have such a melancholy to them.

You do have a way of capturing old & dilapidated very well. Just take a care while wandering around them. Another great shot. : )

I love shooting decrepid old buildings too, they make for such wonderful subject matter! If you have PS try upping the contrast and removing the color, it would make a wonderful B&W!
