Description

Now that we've looked up into the tree, lets look inside the tree. Okay, so I don't know if any elves live here but apparently a spider does. Luckily, the spider was busy or away when I was taking this shot, because if he came out... yikes... one of us may be dead? Me from heart failure or him ... aw, I gotta be truthful I woulda run. LOL. The hole looks rather deep. Not exactly a rabbit warren. Actually, trolls are noted for living in tree hollows like this. I'm surprised Jocko500 didn't pick up on that. And unless the spider is venomous, it's a lot more likely to be scared of you then you are of it. Anyway, excellent clarity and textures in this propitious find, Melinda.

Superb work here. As a science fiction writer, I see this as many intriguing and odd things, as well as the hollow of a tree with the remains of a spider's web inside. There are so many ways to interpret this, so many ways to craft stories around the image itself, which is superb, and the impressions it gives. Fantastic work! I love this!
