Description

Well no fooling you this time I see, most of you got it right again. It is a miniture sanding disc, used mainly in modeling etc, or for places you cannot reach with your normal sander. Mine is used mainly in my stone polishing. The tiny hole is just 3mm and the whole disc is 20mm, for you ladies that is just a tad larger than your thumb nail. I can see I'm going to find somthing harder for the next one. Thanks for stopping by and for taking part, we need some fun now and again. Any of you that go on the forums there is a guessing game going on there. Just look in Photography for WOE(What on Earth), it can be quite challenging. May tyhe sun shine down on you, where ever you are.

I have a Dremel and one of the items I use most is the sanding disks. They stick to a wheel on the end of the Dremel and I can smooth out any rough edge on my finer jobs. Aside from not fooling many, I have to say you did an excellent job with these macros! no wonder you didn't fool too many - you took such great detailed shots.

I have the same tool somewhere(actually I sold it).I have not used in many years as most of my work was accomplished with a belt sander and orbitals.

Excellent Jeff! I use a minicraft for my modeling and motorbike fairings that I have renovated. They make your hand go numb though! LOL! 5+

Pj has a point Jeff - you gave too much away with the great detail to the shot. These are real fun and I hope you keep coming up with some more ideas. Bravo!!!

Wow - that's really tiny! Very cool. I stumbled upon WOE a week or so ago, but had NO idea what any of those things were! Even when somebody figured it out, I STILL didn't know! LOL! Your photography of these very small objects is just excellent. Whether I can figure it out or not, I'm impressed as all get-out with the quality of the work you're doing!
