The more we think of ourselves as unique for our humanity, the more nature shows us that we aren't separate from the world around us and that our ideals, including tenderness are manifest wherever we look. I love this image for showing that. Of course I can say that it's beautiful and touching, and that would be the truth, but there's so much more to this image and whether it's intentional or not, it provides such an excellent commentary on humanity itself, as well as provides us with a wonderful glimpse into lives that aren't as different from our own as we may sometimes wish to imagine. I love the fact that this image evokes all of that! It's gorgeous! Tender. Touching. Intellectually and spiritually provocative and it's a definite favorite of mine!
