Description

Of coarse, Dystopia has no shortage of mad scientists... This Poser 6 rendering is my tribute to a watershed moment in British Comedy. In a 1972 episode of the BBC TV series The Goodies, London was at last placed in the distinguished ranks of other world cities ravaged by a rampaging monster. Tokyo has Godzilla, New York has King Kong and London now has Twinkle the Giant Kitten. To my surprise and delight, this episode is still posted on YouTube as of today. Kitten Kong And The Goodies terrorized London old school. None of this modern CGI shit for them. They used a real kitten, a real fake scale mock up of London, a real fake Post Office Tower and real real BBC journalists being fake squooshed by a real fake giant kitten's paw. Enjoy! By the way, thanks to everyone who commented on my Valentine's Day double feature this year. I was overwhelmed by all the kind responses. And, as always, a most honourable mention for those artists who have contributed free props and figures used in this rendering: Moebius87 for the Dystopia City. Stonemason for the Floater Bot. Little_Dragon for the AnthroEyes for the Poser Cat. Matt Harter at http://www.3dtransit.com/ for the TTC CLRV streetcar. neoserver for all the car props. JTrout for the Road Construction Kit.

LOL SHWEEET image! My Dystopia may not have an LRT but so far we have escaped being ravaged by Twinkle the giant kitty! It is well known and documented in the Dystopia Civil Archives (Document JJ-1304-1298-A66) that LRT systems have adverse magnetic effects on local flora and fauna often inciting them to grow to huge proportions. I cite Tokyo as an example of a common newt growing to gigantic proportions, not to mention a common garden moth. Their folly in implementing rapid rail transit systems is well known!

Fun, creative and brilliant work Clayton. It was you who introduced me to the Goodies a while back and I can see why you have always been a huge fan of their comedy.
