Description
Another shot from last Saturday. This stream rose well over it's banks when it rained earlier in the week, then the temp dropped and it froze over. Once the water beneath the ice receded it was tricky knowing where it was safe to step.
I, (not being fond of cold wet feet), stayed well back and off the slope when shooting this.

I like the brown tones contrasting the snow in several ways...the water,field and the splotches of dead grass...well done!...oh,the knot-hole is the icing on the cake!
