If I remember right this is a purple Lisianthus that got caught up in one of our freak late freezes down here. I put the water on it on purpose to try to use the ice to insulate the blooms. I saw something on TV about Florida growers doing that. It worked up to a point, the plant did continue growing, but the blooms weren't the usual quality of a Lisianthus.

Beautiful capture, Lee. The ice adds interest to the photo but probably did not help the blooms too much. I've had late freezes ruin some of my blooms up North here on several occasions.
