I'm a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a grandmother. Happily divorced, single to stay. But I'm here to say, one can survive heartbreak. It's not easy, extremely painful, but doable. In any case, life goes on. Oh, so often I've fantasized in my life about the many things I've wanted to do. While I may not get them all done, being a writer, I give them to my characters to do, and - hey... it is as good as done.
My world is at Amber Swann the place I hope to bring as a well-known publishing firm of quality IR literature. Yes, publishing is a major dream of mine, the one I'm working the hardest on. In my setting that up, I have completed quite a bit of writing to jump-start my experience in that. A trilogy under my belt, another one completed Aphrodisiac, I'm happy to say is now available as well. That's not all, I also have an ongoing, drama series called, The Beauty Of Man and Woman, better known by my readers as, Bomaw - you'll find them all at Amazon.com. Try the link if you wish to drop in there for a read.
So as you can see, I'm certainly working on making things happen.
Now, a bit about me...
BIO
Born in the USA. Greenville, Mississippi, then my life was in Chicago, Ill. Lived in Killeen, Texas for a few years, and then back to Chicago, and next Wisconsin for 12 or more years... and now, finally, my home is ??? stay tuned! I work at home now, and continue to build on that above dream! And if I play my cards right, perhaps one day, I'll find myself with a #1 best-seller! Time will tell!
Last but not least... I am working on Bomaw Volume 13 - which will be followed up by Saoirse - a historical surrounding the slavery of the Irish, Scot, and Yorkshiremen.
Stay tuned....

LOL, I saw it on the news about your earthquake. I live just outside Los Angeles, CA, USA, we get rollers!!! 5.7 or more and they last for quite a long time some of them. Very freaky indeed!! I run outdoors. LOL! Your image is too cute!!!

lol she is soooo cute. I felt my first earthquake at 4:00 in the morning a few years back.It was soooo weird!!!! I awoke to my house rocking back and forth, wondering what in the world and very qickly realized it must be an earthquake. Being from the east coast it was very shocking because we just never feel them here although we have them daily from my understanding. I am with you I don't do quakes lol. Big chicken here also.

This is too cute, Mercedes! We've had them in Iceland as well, though not sure if it was the volcano or just the island shifting. Not a pleasant feeling, but if you love where you live you get used to it.

Wow, great work and under stress too! I've never been in an earthquake but I'd probably be scared too! Take care girl, it takes a special person that can still create inspite of the surrounding circumstances.

what an adorable character! Great expression. I can only imagine how scary the earthquake, no matter how small, must have been. Glad you are all ok. great image

Great expression on the American in London - remember London has been there a long time not like the US cities that keep getting blown away, flooded, or shaken. My first earthquake was out in eastern Canada - I never even moved but my wife was out of the house like a shot thinking the furnace had blown up - nice of her to tell me after the fact (she's the Canadian) Too funny really ;)

Sorry for the big scare my friend, quakes can really put on on edge. I did however like hearing the story behind how this lovely image came to be. I think the look on her face says it so well.

absolutely excellent render and the expression is priceless - more or less like mine when said earthquake was felt here. I don't like earthquakes - lived through too many of them! UGH - ok so it was only a mild one, but houses here in the UK are not built to withstand that sort of strain... :S
