Description

the top dog was Tyler and he is resting peaceful now.I took this last picture of him Monday morning before leaving to the vet.he was having a great deal of difficulty standing and walking in this picture. he was just an excellent dog.never did anything to be scolded for and was a very good watch dog. the dog on the bottom right is Lucky a Lab mix.she is about 11 and I have had her since she was a puppy.she was a stray and I had been feeding her and one night when the temperature was going to freeze, I found her sleeping outside my garage.I let her in with Tyler and Penny.Penny was 16 when I had her euathanized as she was in poor health and crippled up from old age..Penny is not in these pictures.she was a very stubborn dog and refused to behave but after 16 years I grew to like her I included the other shot of Lucky on the bottom right as she was growling at Eve.Eve does not know that Lucky is the boss and still has to learn the pecking order.Lucky always respected Tyler as the boss from day one as you can see Eve(German Shepperd mix) is a huge dog standing over 3 feet from the ground to her head.she only weighs maybe 12 pounds more than Lucky but that will change being able to eat regular thanks for your thoughts yesterday about the loss of Tyler.he had such a beautiful coat and was cute with one floppy ear and socks on his fromt legs,He was a an Aussie,Border Collie mix and very intelligent.I am not a dog trainer by any means but he would go up and slide down the childrens slide in the park and Lucky would copy anything that Tyler would do thanks for viewing and any comments I did not choose her name as she already had a name at the shelter

Again, sorry for your loss. I am so glad you are able to share these photos with us. Tyler is an incredibly beautiful dog! The other two will fill in the gaps, although I know there will always be a hole in the heart for the lost ones. I have several of those holes, myself, but the new members of the family always help to heal the losses. It is as though the pet we lost has sent the replacement to us. They know which one is best for us. Take care., and hope there are better days ahead soon with your new family member. She looks like a wonderful dog, too.
