Description
Unusual genesis to this one. My 16 year-old daughter, Paige, made a s'mores type dessert with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips and, after it came out of the oven, I noted that it looked like dried lava in texture. I snapped a close up pic and used filters from FotoFlexer to turn it into molten lava and then added a skiff type spaceship.
Kudos to my wife, Patty, for encouraging me to create this picture!!!
Enjoy, comment (please)and thanks!!!

Nice work! I really like how that lava-surface looks, and it's fascinating to see how you got the inspiration for this piece. I can understand the marshmallow-lava association happened, though. Next time you have an an outdoor fire or barbecue, toss a marshmallow on the fire and watch it burn, it's like watching a volcanoe in action!

Nice work! Funny where inspiration can come from. I like the ship and the exhaust.

Interesting backstory! I need to be more receptive like that when it comes to inspiration. As for the image itself, only someone of great, great cojones could pull off flying over lava!
