Description
"I Alway Do My Collors First" is the name of the movie this local lady did. She talked to about four diff people on why and what they think it so importance to have the family clothes real clean and ironed and what they think of the women that do not do this. She did not bring up the subject but these ladies did.
I thought it looked interesting on how they did up the room. I just took the photos and give the lady a copy of the cd. looks a little surreal to me

now thats one way of getting a title across! very strange indeed but great phot of it! as for me...i dont iron either, wash them, put straight onto hangers and the creases just fall out. always buy wash and wear clothes, life is too short to be ironing, need that time for taking for photos!

Even I iron the collars first, when I was a kid my mom taught me to sew and knit to cook wash clothes and iron them, to embroider, to darn socks. I learnt all these things before I was a teenager. She always said I would be OK if I didn't manage to find a wife. I have lived on my own and had to do these things. I don't do much of it now though at one time I did wash dirty nappies/diapers, I have never used anything other than terry cloth nappise for the kids. I do cook now and again, and wash the dirty dishes.lol. Excellent series Jock, I like this one and the way they have used the clothes as props. Looking at the state of this shirt, I think this is a before shot.lol. Great shot, very atmospheric and a great narrative. Bravo!!!!!5+++++

I hate to iron LoL.. When I was growing up with 5 brothers and 3 sisters we ironed for money lol. So I had my share of ironing now I wear wrinkles lol. This is a cool shot. Very unusual. I love the subdued lighting.

You always find the best stuff to photograph. The decoration of the room makes the picture and the POV/compo with the shirts in the foreground is superb. I iron all my collar shirts, btw.
