Description

2 metaballs w/IBL enviroment./GI dome No booleans. 3 colors are simple spheres rendered in same enviro, added in post.

I can see getting the shape with two metas but not the texture...post work?

Claymor: there is a tiny bit of post on the top metaball for shadow. The illusion is created by using a checkerboard map on the MB, then I turned up the reflection to pull in the strong light properties of the HDR/IBL file. This is what gave it the illusion of depth. The grey ring is post to seperate the soft transition that occurs with metaball textures.
