Wow. With that transition line "you whisper and my head snaps" ... you bring the reader bang into your POV. This is SO well done! You never cease to impress me with your writing, my poet friend! Excellent work.

Ah...the magic of the whisper. In the contemporary world, we've fallen into the habit of noise over signal so to speak and you've put your finger right on that! Beautifully written and I love the image that accompanies the piece! Great work.
