Description

First the answer to yesterdays Guess What. Tim was half right and Richard spot on. Mick gave me the idea, The before was fresh ground Arabica Coffee Beans the after was the grains in the strainer out of the coffee machine. I say Tim was half right because he mentioned Coffee, but this is not instant. I drink it very strong, I would have guessed Cake Mix myself, because it looks like there is fruit and candied peel in the after shot. So there you have it, Ground Coffee, before and after infusion. Today's upload is a picture of my daughter Emma when she was about ten years old(she's now 21). we used to go to a large Park(Heaton Park) where you could walk in the woods and feed the squirrels with nuts. They would come right up to you and take them out of your hands, I had an old Praktika 35mm with a 70-200mm lens, hand wind on. We were in a part of the park that was pretty deserted and not well trod. Emma had been sat feeding some squirrels when this tit started dive bombing her. She had me shell some nuts and break them, she then put some in her hand and stood perfectly still. I backed of and stood behind a tree. This is what happened, I do have another one somewhere with the bird batting back its wings prior to landing on her fingers. I was just gob smacked and couldn't wait to get the film developed. It just sat there on her fingers eating nuts. Not a right good quality shot I know, it had been sitting in a well thumbed albumn for a number of years and scanned in using a low quality scanner. I must dig it out and see if I can't enhance it somewhat. Thanks for stopping by and for taking part in the guessing game, I will think up some more soon. Thanks also to those that leave a comment and for your continued support. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are.

Wonderful! The shadowed ground behind the bird really helps it to show up, if the background was the lighter area it would be difficult to see so great job on the POV! (Thanks for the cake mix comment... lol)

Thanks for digging this out for us, Jeff! What a wonderful moment. The photo quality is hardly the issue - it's the sharing of the experience. Beautiful!
