Description

For tennesseecowgirl. I parked on right the edge of town somewhere I'd not been before, and saw this falling down shed. The sky was plain white so fiddled in PS and Picasa and managed to get one of my seascapes behind for the sky. I could do with more something in the trees, but I have to say that at present postwork isn't really my thing, I'd rather be in the garden!!

This is great! A "tennesseecowgirl" composition with some "beachzz" postwork. Perfect! I'll make a deal with you, my friend. I'll postwork your pictures for you, and you can come work in my garden! :)

I like it - a lot. The only thing that bugs me a little is the brightness of the trees in the right background, but that's a minor problem, at most, AISI. As for postwork, well, a lot could be said for and against it, but I think here it works very well and does the image justice. Without the PW it might have been a pretty average image of an unremarkable shed, but you added an ... otherworldly quality to it that draws attention to something many people passing by that place might overlook or ignore. And to me that's a good thing, because I sometimes feel that details are far more interesting than the "grand" pictures. There is so much we can discover all around us if only we look closer, and if it takes postwork to point that out, so be it. Sorry for the rant. :-D

This is an enchanting color creation enhanced by the low point of view which makes the cabin look more impressive and faeric. Wonderful!
