Description

MC4, that`s the name of the moon. (Hey Mitchman, this time I am sure that the round object in the sky is a moon and not a planet. I know it, I was there ;-) ) Still experimenting with ColorSurfaces and Artmatic`s 5th output. You may notice that the lighting of the terrain is a bit special (or should I say alien). This is because a derivative component (which usually serves to achieve a directional lighting effect in Artmatic) was applied on the color texture and on the 5th output. When you align the lighting direction of the derivative component with the sun`s position in Voyager, you can get some exaggeration, as well as some color change, on parts of the lit areas. Sounds confusing? I will try to better explain this at a later time. No postwork. Click on the pic to see more details (1366/768) Thanks for viewing!
