Description

Back to the abstract theme for today. I never knew what the metaball object was in Bryce so thought I'd have a play. This is the result. Any comments are most welcome. Enjoy ... Tony :-)

Haven't played around with these, yet. Guess when they get too close to each other they mold together. Interesting feature. You seem to be well-versed in their use, Tony. I like your excellent use of gel lighting with abstracts.

The interplay you created with the metaballs and your choice in textures and colors are incredible here, Tony!

Nicely done Tony...so you've found the metaballs have you! These are great to work with,as Keith says, the closer you bring them together the more they merge. The wind-blown spires in one of my earlier postings were created with these-I duplicated them a few times, stretched them and grouped them to form all sorts of interesting shapes...endless possibilities! This is a nicely balanced render, like the textures and colours...glad to see you're having a ball(sorry, couldn't resist!)-Neil.

These are the trippiest meatballs I've EVER seen, but they're also the most interesting, beats the heck out of seeing em smothered in sauce!! Ok, I admit it, I have NO idea what you're talking about, but I still like this image a LOT; you always bring such creativity into all your art.

Cool mettaballing Tony. Just for some added fun and a very cool inverted result you can hold 'shiftkey' when you create a mettaball to get a negative influence rather than a positive one. Enjoy! Muis
