Pudding Party For yakchat: This is my 3rd attempt this week to complete this for my dear friend Carol. I've been battling the flu and can't seem to get on my feet. The reason this is so important to me is because Carol's friendship is so important to me and this is my little way of letting her know that. She has given me comfort when Veronica was sick through her thoughtful messages and has always been there for me. There is so much you can say about Carol, she is fantastic in Poser images and amazing at creating the most beautiful characters you've ever seen. If that isn't enough her and her husband have been active in the entertainment, music and club industry for years. Right now they are in the middle of producing a excercise dvd which Carol is doing the art for. When I asked Carol what her favorite memory was she knew instantly. She described of being on her Grandparents farm. Her Grandmother would make chocolate pudding from scratch, and she would let Carol finish off what was left in the pot. Carol remembers a photo of her sitting with a pot, and all the kitties gathering around to help her eat it. This is my attempt to bring that to life, hope it brings back happy memories. Dave Pudding Party: Little Carol had waited and waited for her Grandmother to finish cooking the chocolate pudding, she knew at last it was her turn with the still warm pot. Grabbing a glass of milk she dashed outside just out of sight and sat down, swiping her finger greedily along the sides of the pot getting as much pudding as she could to lick off. Almost as if they knew what time it was here came the kitties, at first the Momma followed closely by the kittens. Always willing to share little Carol gets some pudding on the spoon and begins feeding it to first the Momma, although the little kitty directly below seems to be getting dripped on. Since Pudding parties can be sorta messy after a while it is a sight to behold, with pudding and kitties everywhere. During all of this her Grandmother grabbed a camera to capture this moment as Carol's Mom looked on protesting as she had a fear of cats. ( Some people just wanna spoil all the fun. lol ) Thanks for looking, for now it's back to bed for me. Take care my friends. NOTE: Keep Carol's daughter Sara in your thoughts and prayers, I am sure Carol would be grateful. Also they have discovered recently that it is not safe to feed your puppies or kittens chocolate so please don't. Credits: Madison, Vicky-4, Vicky-3, Mil. this is such a charming story and scene, dave...all the poses are so well done, but i especially like the kitties--they are so true to life in their antics ;D...and, yes, perhaps you should consider writing and illustrating children's books!

Well, i think it's all said above! Maybe writing a nice children's book is a great option to get outside the borders of Rosity. You shure should give it a try! Succes! Arno

A wonderful scene for Yakchat. I am sure you have captured her memory excellently. And, as with most of your art you have brought back lovely memories, though mine wasn't pudding, it was ice cream, the gig was the same lol Excellent work as usual! Now, you should try and rest and get rid of the flu. It's nasty and hangs on forever if you don't take care and rest. This I know. lol Take care.

Heh heh, reminds me of being mobbed for my sandwiches! Sorry to hear you've been knocked down by the flu, personally, I plan to avoid the plague this time around! btw, NEVER feed a cat oatmeal, you may live to regret it! But only if you get to the windows in time.

I heard that flu can be real bad depending on the strain you get, but hang in there. Brilliant image and story Dave. Just goes to show you how nice Carol is, we used to get the mixer bowl and beaters when making cake but we would have never shared them withanimals...lol

I do not expect that that is little Carol's natural hair colour. Though I've been wrong before. Actually, you should never feed your cats any kind of sugar as their teeth are much more susceptible to tooth decay than other animals. Though cats are not supposed to crave sugar, my cat Scoop just loves French vanilla pudding. And yes, as soon as you open one of those store bought cups, Scoop materializes like the Chesser Cat out of no where complete with grin. And a very intense gaze. However, I suspect it is Mom who is the actual cat magnet. The pudding and milk are just bonuses. Curiously, those who fear cats seem to attract them. This is likely due to the fact that those who fear cats choose to not look at them directly. Cats take such behavior as a friendly gesture believe it or not. So they insist upon expressing friendship to these people in turn. Quite the opposite of what someone who fears or hates cats would desire. Irony indeed. Gosh! Where is Alanis Morissette when we need her? I like that little black kitten though. Seems to be the most pragmatic of the bunch and goes straight for the milk. Indeed he looks ready to topple over the glass in order to get at all of it. Sorry to hear you are down with flu. You show great determination in creating such a detailed rendering, I know that I can barely sit up when I'm struck with such a big. There's nothing I can say save drink lots of water to flush out your system. That works for me. Take care my friend.
