The ability to see clarity and elements that the naked eye wouldn't notice are what makes macro photography so fun, I particularly like the detail of the mascara clumping and the veins in the eyes- normally one would not notice these things and you would have to be right on top of your subject with a magnifying lens- this is a very creative and beautiful shot- I do not believe that erasing the veins (as suggested in the above comment) would do justice to the image- I like the reality of it!
