First off, thanks to everyone for the great comments on yesterday's "Grammy's Quilt" I want you all to know how very much they meant to me, especially since I was so nervous about my appointment. Well, like my mom always would tell me, we seem to worry about things that we don't need to worry about, and the things we should we don't. This is one of those things. The dentist said the spot was still there, but not discolored but pinkish, as in healing. So, my thoughts were that I did burn my roof of my mouth. I was so relieved and thankful that she took the time to have me come back. Most doctors wouldn't. They would have you come back if you feel it necessary, which would only cause more stress, and maybe not even ever go back until it was too late. Better safe than sorry. So, again thank you all. I feel like a big jerk for even venting here, and you all are the greatest for supporting my worry-wart self. This I made yesterday, and it just pop out at me. I doubt if I could ever repeat it. It's only 5 layers (one for the frame), but I love the effects of the black lines through it. I hope you enjoy it. Have a great weekend.
