Description
I was a little late walking in to work yesterday morning so missed any sunrise that may have been.
The morning was dull with fairly unbroken cloud cover, yet the sun was still in evidence as a bright spot behind the clouds.
It made a rather magical scene reflecting in the water which, quite frankly, this picture does not do full justice to. It is, nonetheless, still quite appealing.
I have tweaked the colour very slightly in PhotoShop to enhance the atmosphere but, other than that, it is as seen.
I am, truly, happy that I get a walk to work like this every morning. :-)

Very well done. These "dull" mornings are difficult to bring to life in a photo but you have done it well here.

I live two miles from where I work and I have walked it a few times.. and you really notice things walking by places that you would never notice driving by at 40 mph.. lovely shot the trees behind the home here are very pretty the way the light from the sun shines on them

I love this type of photo and the reflection of the sun on the water is perfect. I'd love to walk to work with scenes like this.
