Description

One of the first images I took with my new macro lense that I am really satisfied with. The limited depth of field a macro lense provides is certainly different from what I am used to from using a zoom lense as a "pseudo macro" on plants, but right now I feel that the investment was well made, even if I might not like the learning curve ahead of me. :-D I used my Canon 400D with a Tokina AT-X M100. The lack of an image stabiliser is something about this lense I don't like much, but everything else seems just fine and dandy. :-) All comments welcome, including the good, the bad - and especially the constructive. :-)))

The detail on two of the buds is so good that I would be inclined to crop out the third, or make a shot without it. (I've just posted a macro with the same problem, the front cluster of buds is off focus in mine too!)

I agree with durleybeachbum: cropping the blurry part off or maybe focusing the light on the upper part of the photo to draw attention there would improve the image.
