Description

I can't imagine anything less subtle than a red Gerbera. Yikes! I feel like I'm yelling at you, just posting this! A couple days ago I picked up a nice bunch of flowers when I was at the store. Every year about this time, before anything actually blooms, I start to get a little crazy and HAVE to have flowers in the house. Spring is so close I can almost taste it, but it isn't quite here yet, and a nice bouquet from the store is just the ticket! So ... Sneak Factor = ZERO

Hold on a sec. Ok, I went and got my shades, now I can look. Wow, what a spectacular shot of this gorgeous flower! It doesn't look like you have any trouble shooting reds. The detail on this is amazing, Tara. Very well done indeed.

WOW! This is not to overlook. The spring is near. Tara, I feel exactly the same, I must have flowers in the house and I cant think of much other than spring. My husband is going banana with hammer and nails, as soon as the sun is having a little look through the clouds. LOL ! It is such a lovely red flower indeed. Excellent macro.

Here in the UK, today is Mothers Day, I think you celebrate it at a different time in the USA, but not quite sure. What I'm getting at Tara is that most homes over here at least will have lots and lots of blooms in them today. I know there are two big bunches in this house, so I will be active later taking some pics. This is a superb macro, as Fredster66 points out red can be tough, but you have certainly tamed it for this shot. Excellent clarity and detail. Bravo!!!!! Top notch.
